Kristine Swarts-Zanin
Kristine Swarts-Zanin is a doctoral student in the History Department at University of California, Santa Cruz where she works under her advisor, Alma Heckman. She has a Masters in History from UCSC and a Masters in Middle Eastern Studies from Leiden University. Her work focuses on engineering and architectural history in Late Ottoman and British Mandate Jerusalem, particularly with a focus on construction projects at shared religious sites.
