Ruhama Weiss
Ruhama Weiss is a (pt) Parallel Associate Professor of Talmud and Spiritual Care at the Hebrew Union College, Jerusalem. She also serves as a Director of The Jacob and Hilda Blaustein Center for Pastoral Counseling at the Hebrew Union College. As the Director of the Blaustein Center, she developed and ran several certification programs in the field of Pastoral Counseling. Dr. Weiss is also an activist for human rights and writes a weekly column for one of Israel's most popular news websites, "Y-net". Among her publications: Talmudic Mothers in Therapy – A Psychological Look at Four Talmudic Women (2012); Yalta – A Talmudic Novel (2017); and The Last Jewish Woman of Cyprus (2023).
