Yisca Harani serves as an ad hoc consultant for government ministries, among them the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Religions, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Prime Minister’s Office. She is also a consultant for private and public companies and is frequently interviewed on public broadcasting channels.
For many years, Harani has been active in interreligious dialogue, for which she was presented with the Mt. Zion Foundation Award for Reconciliation in 2013, and the Ladislaus Laszt Ecumenical and Social Concern Award in 2022. In 2023 Harani established the Religious Freedom Data Center for documenting anti- Christian harassments and a Hotline for immediate response to such incidents. The center reports are published on its website and is sent to the authorities.
